Trials may be recorded / streamed on official GMBC(A) & GMCL channels.
Guidelines
- Player Category: Batsman / Bowler / Wicketkeeper / All-rounder
- Batsman Trial: 6 balls (or 1 over). Selection based on technique & runs. White ball & no-ball not considered in batsman score.
- Bowler Trial: 6 balls (or 1 over). Selection based on technique, runs conceded & wickets. No-ball & white ball not considered as runs given.
- All-rounder: Batting (6 balls) + Bowling (6 balls). Combined points decide selection.
- Wicketkeeper: Selection based on technique & dismissals. Multiple trials points will be given.
- Registration Fees: ₹900 per trial (Batsman/Bowler/Wicketkeeper) • ₹1500 per trial (All-rounder)
- Re-trial Fees: 50% of the previously paid fees by the player.
- Ball: Green light-weight tennis ball used in trials.
- Bats Allowed: Wooden tennis ball bats only. No fibre/plastic bats allowed.
- Venue Format: Box/Cage cricket ground (covered sides + roof covered).
- Selection Logic: Based on exhibition match performance & stats. 8 players on field including wicketkeeper & bowler.
- Recording: Video recording may be made available to selection board.
- Streaming: Trials streaming will be done on GMBC(A) & GMCL social channels.
- ID Proof: Birth Certificate or Aadhaar + photographs required.
- Limit: Player can give trials multiple times, but not more than 2 categories.
- Registration: Online at gmbca.org or offline at trial venue.
- Fee Policy: Trial fee is for one player and non-transferable.
